Seramas for Schools and Skills

When people think of a companion animal they usually drift to the furry canine kind. Though a great choice, sometimes families need an animal that is a bit… different. Sometimes kids need a friend that's not like all the others. One who stands out for their bright colors and big personality, just like they have.

Why choose Seramas?

We are always looking to help provide students the opportunity to get involved in their local 4H and FFA programs. Not every family can afford larger livestock, plus the costs of housing, husbandry and then resources for the show seasons. Sometimes they live in HOA neighborhoods which restrict their freedom of choice, other times they simply can't afford to purchase the supplies needed to participate. Due to this many children are left without the companionship they crave and need to develop strong mental skills.

The American Serama breed is a small but sturdy bird, with a gentle and docile nature. They along with the other breeds in our companion line up all are easily befriended and will happily sit in your lap for company. Their small size means they will comfortably nest inside a large cage at night or while you're away. Then they are willing and ready to suspiciously dart around with you during the most mundane of house chores. We hope to offer those children a friend to be proud of with our newest program “Seramas for Schools and Skills".
